Cleaning Pipes with Eco-friendly Homemade Products

Cleaning Pipes with Eco-friendly Homemade Products

Have you ever experienced a drain problem while House Cleaning in Sacramento? Hopefully, that does not happen when you have guests because it is truly embarrassing.

It is good that you may not opt to use harsh House Cleaning products. Non-toxic House Cleaning items are eco-friendly but almost have the same effects as chemicals.

According to the Hose Cleaning enthusiasts of Sacramento, homemade House Cleaning products are working effectively. These are the items on the list to drain clogs in your pipes:

1. Dish Soap and Hot Water

Mix two liters of water and a few tablespoons of liquid dish soap. Boil the mixture, then slowly pour it down the sink. You may need to take a few attempts before completely removing the clogs on the drain, but it is proven effective.

2. Wire Coat Hanger

On your House Cleaning schedule, keep a wire coat hanger that you can use in cleaning your pipes. Unbend the hanger out but leave the hook. Use the hook end of the hanger to catch in the drain and pull up any residue or hair buildup that is clogging the passageway in the pipe. Run hot water down the sink after removing the scums in your drain.

3. Baking Soda & Vinegar

Tidy up the area around your sink. Prepare and place a 1/2 cup of baking soda down the drain. Then, pour a 1/2 cup of vinegar. Plug your drain and leave the House Cleaning solution for an hour. Pour a pot of boiling water down it after.

4. Salt, Borax, and Vinegar

Put 1/4 cup of salt, 1/4 cup of Borax, and then a 1/2 cup of vinegar. Pour a pot of boiling water and leave an hour or until it clears. Lastly, rinse with hot tap water to remove the clog down the drain.

5. Baking Soda & Salt

Combine salt and baking soda. Pour down the drain a 1/2 cup of each. You can let it sit for a minimum of a half-hour or overnight. If you think that the mixture already gets into the clog, clear it with a pot of boiling water. For stubborn clog, the solution needs to sit longer.

6. Plunger

A plunger can be primarily used for the kitchen sink. First, wipe down all the clutter in the sink. Then, try a plunger to clear the food residues stuck at the curve of the drain. Fill the sink with warm tap water and plunge away. Better to use a rubber plunger. If you do not have any, you may purchase one from the House Cleaning store in Sacramento.

Aside from being friendly to the environment in using these homemade House Cleaning products, you can also save because they are far cheaper than commercial House Cleaning items.

Note: Watch out for the scums passing through your pipes on your House Cleaning routine. As much as possible, filter the substances entering your drain to avoid tough clogs on your pipes.
