How to Clean a Kitchen Sink by House Cleaning Sacramento

If your kitchen is the core of your house, your kitchen sink is almost certainly in dire need of your time and effort. You expose your sink to sauce stains, greasy messes, coffee grinds, and raw meat each day. Thus, it is no wonder that a deep clean is long overdue.

House Cleaning Sacramento has looked up several means to clean your kitchen sink.

Follow the House Cleaning steps below to clean your kitchen sink without using harsh House Cleaning chemicals to lift the grime and restore its luster. Substitute a packet of baking soda, a lemon, and a bottle of white vinegar for the dangerous agents.

House Cleaning Step 1: Cleanse

Get rid of food stains, rust, soap scums, and scale deposits using a sponge. You may tackle your House Cleaning stain removal using baking soda. You can also apply a House Cleaning mixture of lemon and powdered Borax to eliminate any spots.

Disinfect your kitchen sink by plugging the drain, pouring warm water into the sink, and applying a little bleach. Scrub your faucet and handles with a sponge, then flush after five minutes.

House Cleaning Step 2: Cleaning the handles and faucets.

You can wash both faucets and handles, regardless of material, with soapy water. Rub them down with a sponge or brush and a toothbrush for those hard-to-reach places.

Lime buildups are due to minerals in your tap water. A spoonful of vinegar added to the soapy water House Cleaning mixture and a final scrub should suffice.

To tackle and eliminate the lime stains from your faucet handles, use a microfiber cloth and vinegar to wipe them down.

Is your sink stainless steel? You can sanitize it with vinegar.

House Cleaning Step 3: Unclog the Drain and Dispose of the Waste

Kitchen odors can entice you in rather than repel you! Use the three House Cleaning kitchen staples you have at home to tackle your drain:

Using Baking Soda and White Vinegar

Clean your kitchen drain with the House Cleaning combination of baking soda and vinegar.

Apart from getting rid of the stinky kitchen smell, you may use both baking soda and vinegar to keep your drains free from clogs since they can clear the blockages caused by limescale deposits and grime buildups. Keep in mind to use one part baking soda to two parts white vinegar.

Spill the baking soda down the drain first, then the white vinegar. Give the House Cleaning mixture fifteen minutes to work their magic, then flush the drain with boiling water to eliminate any residue.

Disposal Sanitized with Lemon, Salt, and Ice

Put a few lemon wedges, salt, and ice cubes in your garbage disposal.

Salt scrubs the blades, while ice aids in the removal of gunk and grime. If coarse salt is not on hand, use rock or sea salt instead.

Use lemon to deodorize and produce a new fragrance!

House Cleaning Sacramento looks forward to providing you with more House Cleaning techniques for your House Cleaning needs.
