  1. Soak your microfiber cloth in hot water.

  4. Wipe clean the cooktop with a new microfiber towel dampened with hot soapy water. You will repeat this step as required. If your microfiber cloth becomes dingy, replace it with a new one. After all, you want to remove the grease, not spread it.
  5. Using a clean microfiber towel, dry and polish your cooktop. Let the paste sit for five minutes.

Baking Soda

  1. Before you begin cleaning the stovetop, be sure to cool down and turn it off.
  2. Then, wipe the coils with a wet cleaning cloth and a little dish detergent.
  3. Make a paste composed of baking soda and warm water for tough stains and grime. For stubborn stains, use the baking soda paste and let it on for around 30 minutes.
  4. Scrub the paste and debris away with a damp towel. Use a clean, dry towel to wipe off the stovetop.

Ammonia

This House Cleaning method is only effective on tiny grates that cover individual burners.

  1. Pour a few drops of ammonia into a ziplock bag.
  2. Then, put one of your stove’s components in the bag, and continue until all of the components you want to clean are wrapped in bags.
  3. Overnight, leave the bags on your countertop.
  4. In the morning, remove the pieces from the bag and wash the grease and dirt away using a soapy sponge.
  5. While ammonia is often diluted with water, you may further dilute it before using it.
  6. After cleaning the grates and burner heads, thoroughly dry them.
