How To Remove Unknown Stains

How To Remove Unknown Stains

House Cleaning crews are aware that this has happened to all of us. When you try to put on your favorite piece of clothing, you see a blemish on it. Worse, you have no idea what produced the stain or how long it has existed. San Diego Maid Service gives insights to bring your domestic surfaces back to their original beauty.

Here are some tips from San Diego Maid Service to remove unknown stains from different surfaces:

  • Fiberglass, Rayon, Silk

Scrub the area with a dry-cleaning solvent such as Afta Cleaning Fluid. Using a dampened absorbent pad, wipe with adhesive remover and pat dry. If the discoloration lingers, follow the House Cleaning experts’ advice and apply amyl acetate and tamp again.

  • Acrylic Fabric, Cotton, Linen

Soak the discoloration with a rubbing alcohol compress, then wipe it away with an ammonia-soaked towel. If the stain lingers, use a powdered solvent like K2r Spot Lifter or Eau Lens Cleaner to wash the area. San Diego house cleaning services recommend to stir again, then use a wet spotter and a few drops of vinegar.

  • Bamboo, Cane, Ceramic Glass, Tile

Clean the spot away with a damp, wet cloth bathed in warm-hot soapy water with a few drops of ammonium. To filter over, cleanse carefully, and wipe dry with a soft cloth, House Cleaning staff

  • Alabaster, Marble

Using a towel or sponge immersed in warm, steamy water, clean the discoloration away. Rinse well and pat dry. If a stain continues, apply or wipe alcohol on an applicator stick and put it across the spot. Wait 5 minutes before applying an ammonia-soaked pad that’s been completely dry. Rotate between using ethanol and ammonium wipes till the stain is gone. Rinse thoroughly with a damp towel and dry it as the House Cleaning gurus advised.

  • Granite, Limestone, and Masonry Tile

House Cleaning crews in San Diego recommend scrubbing the discolored area with a mixture of bicarbonate soda or bleach and water. Scrape with a soft toothbrush or a towel. They are left to dry after rinsing entirely with clean water.

  • Grout

House Cleaning gurus show that the discoloration can be disinfected with a towel bathed in warm fizzy water. If the discoloration persists, carefully scrub the area with a wet brush dipped in sodium bicarbonate or powder cleaner. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and wipe dry.

  • Leather, Suede

Combine a moderate soap solution with cool water to make lots of suds. If a sticky or greasy film persists, use an abrasive polenta to dust the area. Scrape powders off the skin using a bristle brush (the process of sweeping discoloration up onto a piece of paper). If required, apply the absorbent again.

Unknown stains might be difficult to remove. How would you get rid of it if you don’t know what it is? These various cleaning steps will help you overcome the sense of uncertainty. If you need to hire a house cleaning service, San Diego Cleaning Service can help!
